  4.                           WHAT IS STARSEARCHER?
  5.  
  6.   StarSearcher is both an Industry Database and a Career Management Tool for
  7.   Professional Entertainers.  The Industry database supplied with the Share-
  8.   ware version contains 500 industry contacts (Agents/Cruise Lines/Producers
  9.   etc.)  to which the user may add or edit.  A Personal Database is also in-
  10.   cluded.

  12.   Added to this are a text editor, used for writing notes and letters, Mail
  13.   Merge capability with tracking of letters sent, a phone dialer with track-
  14.   ing of phone calls, Appointment and Booking Scheduler, Calendars, and the
  15.   ability to generate 6 month Booking Calendars.

  17.   An additional 3500 industry contacts and StarPort v 1.13 (data import/ex-
  18.   port utility program for StarSearcher) are provided upon registration.

  24.       either a High Density Diskette or to a temporary Harddrive direct-
  25.       ory and UNZIP.

  32.    Run  A:SETUP    From Program Manager and follow instructions
  33.                    Create a New Program Group for StarSearcher
  34.                    Add STARVGA.COM to program group and assign an ICON

  39.    Type SETUP.EXE  from the DOS prompt where SETUP.EXE is located and
  40.                    follow instructions

  43.    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  45.    StarSearcher occupies 570 K RAM and requires DOS 3.1 or above. A Harddrive
  46.    is required. CONFIG.SYS should specify FILES=40 or greater.
